Ping G440 Golf Hybrid Thinner Face Design For More Ball Speed
With a re-designed face structure, the new G440 hybrids give players a higher launch and increased ball speeds, whilst the CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight which is re-allocated to ensure forgiveness and provide a more pleasing sound at impact.
The G440 hybrids appeal to a variety of skill levels, each expertly engineered to deliver different characteristics. They all have a new shallower face which helps make contact higher on the face for more ball speed and a higher launch, both aiding the ball hold the green. The face is also 8% thinner and optimised to control speed on off-centre strikes.
Centre of gravity has been reduced by 12% by removing weight from the screw, heel section and hosel with Free-Hosel Technology, this combined with the reduced face height help increase launch and stopping power on the greens, all without compromising ball speeds. The slimmed down back-weight profile enables the club to sit flusher to the ground and allowing the face angle to remain consistent no matter the loft or lie setting.
