By using advanced simulations during research and development, the aerodynamics of the Qi4D have been improved by re-engineering the head profile further, resulting in increased ball speeds. Built with a face that is made for distance, the Qi4D drivers feature a new and improved roll radius that yields more consistent spin across the vertical impact locations of the face. A new Speed Pocket enhances face flexibility across the bottom of the face where players commonly strike shots. The 60x Carbon Twist Face offers significant weight savings resulting in faster ball speed and greater consistency compared to a titanium face. The technology also employs corrective face curvature with less loft in the heel and more loft in the toe, helping to achieve tighter downrange dispersion on mishits.
Insights from over 11 million shots collected across two decades has led to a revolution in driver shaft fitting. Leveraging Mitsubishi Chemical's material expertise, players can now be matched with shafts tailored to their rotation rate and swing profile, promoting centred contact, increased speed, and improved accuracy.
Utilising four Trajectory Adjustment System weights, two 9g and two 4g, players are provided with the most mass efficient way to adjust ball flight and spin. The 4 degree loft sleeve allows further refinement of loft, lie, and face angle to optimise ball flight.
